Adoptions
Many pets rescued from the effects of Katrina
and the other hurricanes in the Gulf Coast have been placed in foster
homes, can no longer be reunited with their families, and will soon
be up for adoption. Many more pets still need to be rescued, but
there are too few spaces left in shelters to house them.
Please note: ARNO is open to the public from 3PM to 7PM daily. Please stop by during those hours to inquire about adopting or schedule an appointment during other times with adoptfromarno@yahoo.com. Thanks for your cooperation!
To apply to adopt an animal from ARNO, download a pdf that may be filled out and sent by mail to:

Please, adopt a pet today. Adopting any
pet, even a pet not from the Gulf Coast, helps make space for more
Katrina rescues! To see photos and descriptions of dogs and cats
for adoption and shelters in your area, go to Petfinder.com and www.1-800-Save-A-Pet.com.
